We did it!
What a wonderful weekend! We're still basking in all the love and support we received last weekend. We are so honored that those of you who were able to made the trip to share the celebration with us. And we're touched deeply by the messages and well-wishes from our wider community...
We can't properly thank enough those of you who went beyond to help make the whole production happen. Rabbi Danielle, Kristen, Frank, Esther, Lil, Julie, Elisheva, Will, Yaakov, Maddie, Thaddeus, Bel, Julie, Beth, not to mention the staff from the Boathouse at Canal Dock (Ericka!), Bourassa Catering, Powerstation Events (Christi!), Flowers by Elyse, Butterfly Photography, Next Door, and dozens of others... Heavens, and let's not forget all the singers and speakers! And... and... and... What a day, what a weekend, what a beginning!

Getting to the Boathouse
Hotel Shuttle
Shuttle service will be provided from the Hotel Marcel and the Village Suites.
The Hotel Marcel is a 5-8 minute walk to the Boathouse.
5:15 PM, 5:40 PM, 6:05 PM - Shuttle pickup @ Village Suites
5:20 PM, 5:45 PM, 6:10 PM - Shuttle pickup @ Hotel Marcel
6:30 PM - 11 PM - Shuttle service available from the Boathouse to the hotels
11:15 PM - Last shuttle leaves the Boathouse

Update from September 30, 2023 at 9 AM
Well, after an actual deluge in New York City yesterday that wreaked havoc with the trains and planes, it continues to rain here in New Haven.
The consensus forecast is for rain until about 1 PM. :-(
So, we are cancelling the "Townie's View" walking tour, and postponing the "Mosaics with Beth" tour until 1 PM.
The "Mosaics with Beth" tour will begin at Beth's studio at 228 Everit Street. Walk down the driveway to the left of the house into her backyard studio.
There are some good indoor activities in New Haven. Trip Advisor has a thorough list.
I can also recommend several amazing buildings on Yale's central campus -- the Beinecke Rare Book Library opens at noon and is spectacular. The Sterling Memorial Library opens at 10 AM and is gorgeous. The Yale University Art Gallery opens at 11 AM and has a great collection.
Finally, for the adventurous, there's IT! at Jordans, an indoor adventure park and ropes course.
Either way, we'll see you at the Boat House this afternoon. We cannot wait!

It's happening!! Some updates:
It's going to be drizzly Friday and much of Saturday in New Haven. We'll make a call on the walking tours by 9 AM Saturday and post that information here, as well as sending an email. (We'll offer some alternatives if we're forced to cancel.)
For tonight's event at Next Door, we'll be in the "back room" -- you'll have no problem finding the party!
If you are driving to Sunday's Bon Voyage open house, please feel free to park nearby Jake's house. It's on-street parking and posted as residential zone parking, but Sunday morning is not generally a time of high enforcement...
Update from September 17, 2023
It's almost time!! Just two weeks to go and we're so excited to share our wedding weekend with you!
However, there is sad news to share. Nancy Goldsmith Rose, Sharon's mom, passed away on September 10 here in New Haven. It has been an emotional time to be sure. Thanks to all of you who have shared your support and condolences. We are choosing to remember her gifts and see both these life transitions as a reminder that the main thing any of us can do is give each other our love and support.
Below, we've included many updates and details. Please take a few minutes to read through the schedule and logistics.
